How we manage and distribute our products (what to know)

  1. Blithe Token (BLT)

The Blithe Token (BLT) is the unique exchange / native token of Blithe Wallet / Ecosystem. The Blithe Token was created to enhance user experiences on Blithe Wallet. There is no guarantee that this token will generate revenue for you. Like every cryptocurrency, Blithe Token is volatile and vulnerable to extreme market conditions. You must carry out due diligence and research before entering markets involving the Blithe Token or any pair involving the Blithe Token. The Blithe Token can be bought on any decentralized (or centralized) exchange, aside from the Blithe Wallet swap pool.

2. Blithe Mastercard and Visa Card

Blithe’s partnership with leading digital payment companies—Mastercard and Visa Card—birthed the Blithe Mastercard and Visa Card. Any of the aforementioned credit/debit cards can be used independently or respectively on Blithe Wallet and/or any Blithe Product or Service. Blithe credit/debit cards will facilitate near-field communication for seamless and fast transactions for Blithe Wallet users. Although, this may not apply all the time: you could earn bonuses or discounts when you use Blithe’s credit/debit cards on Blithe Wallet. The security and maintenance of the Blithe Mastercard and Visa Card is solely your responsibility; you must safeguard them all the time. Uniquely created and issued upon wallet creation. Unique for every supported asset on Blithe Wallet.

3. Blithe API and SDK

Blithe Wallet has APIs and SDKs which could be used by third-party platforms or websites. These include the Blithe Widget, among other up-and-coming APIs that could easily be integrated as a service on supported platforms. Using Blithe Wallet’s SDKs should be done according to our terms of service. Accessing and distributing our APIs and SDKs without prior notice to the development team could attract restriction and cancellation of usage. Ensure you possess the basic requirements to use and access our SDKs such as a dedicated section for its integration. You should also notify your users of disclaimers pertaining to the usage and licensing grant from the Blithe Wallet development team, based on the terms documented in our privacy policy and terms of service.

4. Blithe Staking Service

Staking is one of the incentivized media on Blithe Wallet used to enhance user experience. Our staking service will be provided through third-party integration from Catex protocol. Catex is one of the emerging staking services offering tiered and ordered staking services. Catex’s methodology includes customization of stakes by users which allows for proportionate staking. Our partnership with Catex is mutual and fully authorized. As a non-custodial protocol, you are responsible for your security during staking. You must keep your private keys safe at all times to avoid losing your stakes and assets to third-party infiltrations. If for any reason, you encounter difficulties using the staking service (by Catex), you must understand that Blithe Wallet will not be held responsible for it, as it’s not in our power to maintain the staking service, we only offer it through a third party partnership. Ensure you understand the nitty-gritty of staking and using a third-party staking service. You should also read Catex’s terms of service to make sure you comply with their terms.

5. Asset Wallet, Private Key, and Backup

Blithe Wallet offers asset management and transfers. Assets supported on Blithe Wallet primarily include cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Other assets may include tokenized items or resources usable on different DeFi platforms (DApps). Blithe Wallet issues unique addresses for cryptocurrencies and NFTs depending on the blockchain network of the asset. Mistakes involving the use of one address (or address of one asset) for another asset will lead to the loss of the asset involved in such a transaction. You must be careful during transactions to avoid such mistakes as there will be no insurance or reversals.

Blithe Wallet provides you with a private key which will be used to authorize or sign any transaction in your wallet. Blithe Wallet allows you to create multiple wallets on one portal. You do not need different private keys for the wallets created, as you can authorize transactions on all the wallets using a single private key.

You must store your Blithe Wallet login details as we do not offer a backup for your private key or passwords. We could help you store your seed phrase which is accessible whenever you want in the security info section. You must understand that we do not read or disclose information regarding your secret phrase (seed/mnemonic phrase), encrypted or decrypted private keys, or passwords. We cannot generate a new seed phrase for you if you lose yours. Also, we are not liable if, by any reason or means, you are unable to log into your wallet due to the misplacement of your login details, seed phrase, or private key.
